Job summary
Sartorius, based in the Raleigh-Durham area with a remote work model, seeks a Field Application Specialist to support design, validation, and implementation of fluid management solutions. You will drive technical demonstrations, trials, and customer collaboration across the region, including potential coverage in neighboring states.
Strong sales acumen and biotech acumen are essential. You will partner with Commercial teams, lead technical discussions, and ensure successful customer adoption
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in technical sales, applications support, or pre-sales in a scientific setting.
- Strong hunter mindset with ability to win new opportunities.
- Hands-on technical skills for demos, trials, and evaluations.
- Excellent consultative communication and documentation in CRM.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new customers; qualify opportunities with Commercial.
- Plan and run technical demos and trials to validate fit.
- Position solutions, quantify impact, address objections.
- Collaborate with Commercial to prepare proposals and offers.
- Provide pre- and post-sales support and ensure smooth transition to Central Sales.
- Capture Voice-of-Customer insights to influence product portfolio.
