Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in the Tampa area to support Leasing Consultants, manage rent collection, and help ensure budgeted occupancy targets are met. You will work closely with the Property Manager and handle leasing tasks, applications, and resident relations.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; post-secondary in business or property management preferred.
• 1+ year(s) in property management or real estate preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong computer, verbal, math and reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support Leasing Consultants in leasing tasks.
• Collect rent and ensure revenue data is posted correctly.
• File evictions when applicable and stay informed of local laws.
• Review applications and verify income and qualifications.
• Audit move-ins and ensure all leasing documents are filed.
• Prepare monthly reports per company guidelines.
• Assist with leasing and property tours as needed.
• Coordinate with Property Manager to meet occupancy and budgets.
• Support resident functions and maximize renewals.
• Occasional weekend work may be required.
