Job summary

ZRS Management, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to motivate Leasing Consultants, analyze market data, and prepare for advancement to Property Manager. You will collect rent, process applications, audit move-ins, and help manage budgets and resident relations.

The role requires strong computer, negotiation and leadership skills, plus familiarity with property management software. Weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• 1+ year of property management or real estate experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary coursework in business or property management preferred.
• Strong computer, verbal, math and reasoning skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other MS Office products.
• Knowledge of property management software (Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman).

Responsibilities

• Collect rent in a timely manner and ensure revenue data is correctly posted.
• File evictions when applicable and stay informed on local laws.
• Issue lease violations and coordinate with the property manager.
• Review and approve applications with proof of income and qualification guidelines.
• Audit move-ins and ensure all payments and documents are complete.
• Ensure residents’ billing is accurate and up to date.
• Prepare monthly reports per company guidelines.
• Assist with budgeting and uploading bills for approval.
• Troubleshoot resident issues and escalate when needed.
• Assist with leasing and conduct tours.
• Handle escalated service requests with the team.
• Support property manager to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Help host resident functions and renewals.
