Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group. This role leads the pursuit and execution of large civil infrastructure projects using alternative delivery methods, aligning with HDR policies and risk management frameworks.

You will coordinate with legal, risk, and leadership teams to ensure contract terms and project success. Ideal candidates have 15+ years of engineering project delivery experience, strong leadership, and proven ability to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in engineering or closely related field.
Minimum 10 years of related field experience.
Professional registration for technical leadership roles preferred.
Experience managing diverse teams and cross-functional leaders.
Ability to collaborate with directors, managers and staff.

Responsibilities

Report to Project Delivery Program Director and drive delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
Coordinate with HDR policy, risk committee, and legal for contract terms.
Collaborate with other HDR leadership on AD projects and contractor relationships.
Engage with clients on upcoming AD projects and programs.
Lead or participate in HDR matrix with area/region leadership.
Provide advisory on commercial and technical trends in AD industry.
Travel up to 50% of time.
