Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group to drive large-scale design and build projects using alternative delivery methods.

You will lead cross-functional teams, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with HDR policy and risk committees. You have at least 10 years in civil infrastructure, a PE license, and proven client relationship management with public agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of professional engineering experience with large civil infrastructure design and design management on major transportation Alternative Delivery projects.
• Professional registration (PE) preferred; for leadership roles with core design services, registration is required

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Delivery Program Director and ensure effective pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policy, authority matrix, and risk committee approvals.
• Collaborate with HDR Business Group Directors and Legal to negotiate terms for AD projects.
