David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to deliver a five-star experience for customers in-store and during appointments. You will welcome, assist, and problem-solve across channels, coordinating with alterations to ensure seamless service.

The role emphasizes promoting alterations services, maintaining store standards, and handling transactions accurately while building long-term customer relationships. Prior sewing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and ensure five-star service.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for customers.
• Escalate issues to Alterations Manager when needed.
• Explain alterations options and promote services.
• Maintain store standards and promotional readiness.
• Escort customers to alterations for appointments.
• Press, steam, and spot-clean garments as required.
• Inspect garments to ensure pristine condition before delivery.
• Build relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist with special orders, pickups, and quality standards for merchandise.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap.
