David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to join our alterations team. You will greet customers, schedule appointments, and help prepare garments for pickup, ensuring a five-star service experience.

You will assist with pressing, steaming, and labeling garments, coordinate with the Alterations Manager, and promote personalization options while maintaining store standards and accuracy at the cash wrap.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Meet service vows and handle alterations-related tasks and pickups.
• Address customer concerns and escalate to Alterations Manager when needed.
• Explain how alterations can improve the dress for events and upsell services.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain clean, organized alterations area and store standards.
• Adhere to dress code policy and assist with appointments.
• Escort customers to alterations for fittings and ensure timely delivery.
• Perform pressing, steaming and spot cleaning of garments.
