David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to deliver a welcoming, five-star experience for alterations customers in our store. You will answer phones, assist customers, arrange appointments, and help prep garments with care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone, chats, and in person; adapt communication style to solve problems.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers and complete operational checklists.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers; address concerns confidently and know when to escalate to leadership.
• Explain how alterations can improve dress fit and partner with Alterations.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments; press, steam, and spot clean garments.
• Inspect garments per quality guidelines before delivery to customers.
• Build long-term relationships to drive loyalty; assist inventory with special orders and pickups.
• Support cash wrap and accurate transactions; maintain a celebratory atmosphere.
• Seek help from Alterations Manager when needed; keep alterations room clean and organized.
