Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver a premium customer experience in the Alterations department. You will welcome customers, schedule and assist with fittings, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickup with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone or virtually and solve problems with clear communication.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs and Be There for all customers, including operational checklists and emotional support.
• Provide outstanding service to multiple customers at once and escalate issues to leadership when needed.
• Explain how alterations can enhance the dress for events in partnership with Alterations.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and a flawless shopping environment.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments and ensure smooth process.
• Press, steam, and spot-clean merchandise and inspect garments before delivery.
• Support inventory by processing special orders and pickups; uphold quality standards.
• Process transactions accurately at cash wrap and seek assistance from Alterations Manager when needed.
• Keep alterations room clean and organized; carry out duties as assigned by management.
