David’s Bridal is hiring an Alterations Customer Service Representative to deliver a friendly, five-star customer experience in-store, via phone, and online. You will manage appointments, assist customers with alterations, and promote personalization options.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the POS system, maintaining store standards, and supporting inventory and checkout processes. Prior sewing and POS experience are helpful for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, adapting style to suit customers and solve problems.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Meet all service vows including preparing, welcoming, meeting needs and being there for all customers.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers and address concerns confidently.
• Explain how alterations can enhance the dress for the event in partnership with Alterations.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping experience.
• Maintain high dress code standards.
• Escort customers to alterations for appointments.
• Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise.
• Inspect garments to ensure pristine condition before delivery.
• Build long-term relationships to meet customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support inventory management and manage pickups and quality standards.
