Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at on-site rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee prep, production, staff management, and allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires living on-site, a demanding 6-day/70-hour week, and delivering high-quality scratch cooking with strong safety and inventory management. Competitive seasonal pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Able to identify all Big 9 Allergens and manage allergen safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
