Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership position at rural summer camps across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, staff management, and allergen safety at a top-tier summer camp.

This is an on-site, live-in position requiring a minimum 6-day/70-hour week, with room and board provided and travel allowances. The role offers competitive seasonal pay, a bonus, and an opportunity to lead a dynamic camp

Qualifications

2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
Strong leadership, cooking, ability to navigate I-Pad, ingredient versatility, allergen identification, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
Oversee prep and production for designated day parts, staff management, and allergen safety.
Strict allergen protocols and sanitation standards compliance.
Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
