Job summary

Wolfoods is hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily prep and production for a designated day part, leads staff, and enforces allergen safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate iPad and kitchen tech.
• Able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot/cold kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep, production, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
