Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp sites across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety.

This on-site, live-in position requires 6‑day/70‑hour weeks, strong inventory and budget skills, and a commitment to scratch cooking and high-volume service. Join a dynamic team delivering safe, quality meals to campers.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot/cold kitchen environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portions, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and sanitation standards per Health Dept. guidelines.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting/budgets.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
