Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site summer camp operations. You will oversee all prep and production for the day part, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

You must be able to live on-site, work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week, and maintain strict safety and sanitation standards while delivering quality meals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership and cooking skills; able to navigate I-Pad and identify Big 9 Allergens; adaptable with ingredients.

Responsabilités

• Operations & Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Enforce allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
