Job summary

Wolfoods is hiring an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This on-site, live-in position demands a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and oversight of prep, production, and allergen safety.

You'll lead kitchen staff, manage inventory, ensure scratch cooking, and maintain strict health standards while delivering competitive pay, bonuses, and room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, ability to navigate iPad, versatile with ingredients, identify all Big 9 Allergens.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
