Job summary

Dow is seeking a Tech Center Specialist in Alkoxylation to support PU and DIS polyols and surfactants, primarily on the U.S. Gulf Coast (Texas and Louisiana). You will troubleshoot processes, lead feasibility studies, and guide cross-functional teams on asset evaluations and capacity growth.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree or equivalent experience, strong automation and reactor modeling exposure, and a proven ability to drive safety, reliability, and cost improvements across plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Preferred: chemical engineering degree; experience in operations or process automation; reactor modeling tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and process troubleshooting to External Manufacturing facilities and internal Alkoxylation plants of PU and DIS, producing polyols, polyglycols, surfactants, lubricants, and fluids.
• Serve as project leader to drive implementation of initiatives including new product introductions and asset evaluations.
• Lead multi-functional teams to rapidly assess and troubleshoot plant technology gaps or unplanned events.
• Identify and lead value creation projects at Alkoxylation PU and DIS plants.
• Provide stakeholder updates on risks and barriers to success.
• Lead feasibility studies for capacity growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Technology Expertise Center on improvement opportunities and plant communications.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and process safety programs.
