Job summary

Dow's Alkoxylation Process Technology Expertise Department seeks a Tech Center Specialist with a focus on supporting Alkoxylation products in PU and DIS plants. The preferred location is the U.S. Gulf Coast (Texas and Louisiana), with flexibility for other U.S. locations or global sites.

The role emphasizes technical troubleshooting, project leadership, and collaboration across functional teams to optimize plant performance and ensure EH&S compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Preferred: chemical engineering degree and reactor modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for External Manufacturing facilities and internal Alkoxylation plants of PU and DIS.
• Lead projects to drive implementation of initiatives, including new product introductions and capital feasibility studies.
• Lead multi-functional teams to rapidly assess and troubleshoot plant technology gaps or unplanned events.
• Identify and lead value creation projects at Alkoxylation PU and DIS plants.
• Provide key stakeholder updates reviewing risks and barriers to success.
• Lead feasibility studies for capacity growth opportunities.
• Work with the Technology Expertise Center to communicate improvements to plant teams and ensure EH&S compliance.
