Job summary

Dow Chemical seeks a Tech Center Specialist to support Alkoxylation in PU and DIS plants from the U.S. Gulf Coast, with flexibility for other locations. The role emphasizes technical troubleshooting, project leadership, and safety compliance.

You will lead multi-functional teams, drive cost and safety improvements, and coordinate with external manufacturing partners to scale up new products and optimize existing processes.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking PLUS 5+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to External Manufacturing facilities and internal Alkoxylation plants.
• Lead project initiatives including new product introductions, asset evaluations, and process safety improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address plant technology gaps and respond to escalated events.
• Identify and lead value creation projects at Alkoxylation PU and DIS plants.
• Provide stakeholder updates on risks and progress toward success.
• Conduct feasibility studies for capacity growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Technology Expertise Center to communicate improvements to plant teams.
• Ensure EH&S and process safety compliance.
