Trane Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design the commercial HVAC equipment and systems that support our Trane Commercial Systems business. You will collaborate with multiple engineering and manufacturing teams to develop concepts for new and improved products and solve complex technical problems to deliver sustainable solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of engineering experience in product design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of engineering work experience in product design, validation testing and/or root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Meet the needs of internal and external customers by documenting, understanding and prioritizing requirements.
• Apply technical expertise to design and evaluate products for various applications.
• Participate on project teams to meet performance, reliability, cost and schedule objectives.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation including 3D models, BOMs, drawings and specs.
• Conduct design FMEAs and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Deliver technical designs that meet project and product requirements.
• Overnight travel up to 10%.
