Job summary

SP+, located in Hebron, KY, is seeking a part-time Wheelchair Supervisor to oversee the wheelchair operation at the airport facility. The role involves assisting passengers with mobility, coordinating with gate teams, and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the shift.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain the required airport badges plus pass security screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Airline experience preferred.
• Must lift up to 75 lbs and push up to 300 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates
• Roll customer-occupied wheelchair safely down the jet bridge
• Ensure wheel brakes are in place prior to exiting wheelchair
• Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports
• Follow dispatcher gate orders
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and assist passengers
• Maintain professional relationships with staff and airport personnel
• Exceed customer service standards
• Carry out other duties as assigned
