Job summary

SP Plus Corporation in Arlington, VA is seeking a Wheelchair Supervisor at an airport facility. You will oversee wheelchair operations, ensure passengers needing assistance are served with empathy, and may assist by pushing passengers and moving luggage.

This hands-on role requires reliability, security training, ability to obtain airport badges, and strong communication. You will follow dispatcher gate orders, maintain safety and professionalism, and contribute to above-standard customer

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to clear a background and drug screen.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Airline experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates.
• Roll customer-occupied wheelchair down the jet bridge safely.
• Ensure wheel brakes are in place before passengers exit the wheelchair.
• Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports.
• Follow dispatcher gate orders.
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and assist passengers with problems or questions.
• Maintain professional relationships with employees, airline staff, and airport authorities.
• Exceed customer service standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
