HMSHost at Tampa Airport F&B is seeking a General Manager I to lead a QSR restaurant or cluster, ensuring cleanliness, staffing, and high operational standards. You will drive profitability, deploy staff effectively, and promote HMSHost as an employer of choice within the local community.

The role requires overseeing daily operations, adherence to safety, and delivering an exceptional guest experience while meeting financial targets.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience.
5–7 years of overall restaurant operating experience.
Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute part of the experience.
Demonstrates team management, delegation and issue resolution skills.
Knowledge of HMSHost policies, service standards, and operations.

Responsibilities

Open and close duties, ensuring readiness for opening and adherence to checklists.
Staff deployment, scheduling and coaching to meet business goals.
Order procedures and inventory; supervise product availability.
Maintain brand standards and drive revenue through marketing programs.
Manage day-to-day restaurant activities and resolve staff/customer questions.
Ensure safety standards and compliance with health regulations.
Report to operations leadership and adapt to varied schedules.
