Job summary

HMSHost is hiring for a Manager I at Memphis Airport to help run QSR-style restaurant operations. You’ll supervise day-to-day activities, assist in hiring decisions, and ensure staffing and cleanliness while upholding high operational standards.

You’ll also manage schedules, costs, and safety compliance in a busy F&B environment. The role requires 2+ years in F&B, cash handling, and customer service, with at least 6 months of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, interpret instructions, and follow policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within units or POS.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring input, and promotions recommendations.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated rest breaks and meal periods are taken.
• Keeps display areas clean, stocked and visually appealing.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per policies.
• Monitors safety procedures and reports safety concerns to GM.
• Performs Health and Safety activities per guidelines.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices.
• Maintains current contact info for all restaurant associates.
