National Car Rental in Albuquerque is hiring a Return Agent to greet customers, process returns, and keep the lot organized. The role focuses on friendly, efficient service and accurate rental transactions at the Albuquerque Airport location.

Working hours are 9am-6pm Thursday through Monday, with a monthly performance bonus potential and benefits including PTO, insurance, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service, retail, or admin support experience.
• Valid driver's license with <=2 moving violations/at-fault accidents in 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions in past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work the listed schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on arrival using prescribed dialogue.
• Remind customers to check for personal belongings.
• Identify items found in the vehicle; log with unit number, date and time.
• Advise on rental charges and provide accurate receipts.
• Provide information about transportation to the airport terminal.
• Thank customers using prescribed dialogue.
• Inquire about service satisfaction and document dissatisfaction.
• Discreetly check vehicles for damage and direct to the counter for reports.
• Verify fuel level with the vehicle return policy.
• Complete service alerts for mechanical or body damage.
• Identify system-held vehicles and verify proper lot movement.
• Identify and tag vehicles flagged for grounding or maintenance.
• Keep the lot organized for access and traffic flow.
• Seek to improve performance through self-assessment and training.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
