Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a Passenger Service Agent to assist guests with travel needs, manage check-in, baggage, and boarding, and resolve guest inquiries. You will play a key role in maintaining cabin comfort and handling mishandled guests across timelines.

The role requires strong communication, a flexible schedule, and the ability to operate a computerized reservation system. Successful candidates must pass security clearance and be ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs (e.g., inquiries, baggage, ticketing, checking-in, boarding).
• Ensure cabin accommodations.
• Handle mishandled guests from oversold, delayed, or damaged flights.
• Arrange seat assignments, direct guests, and manage announcements or upgrades.
• Process and secure guest luggage and manage delay/damage claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure guest satisfaction.
