Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking an Agent, Passenger Service to support airport operations, passenger reservations, ticketing, baggage handling, and travel information. You will help ensure smooth boarding, handle lost and found, and assist with airfreight documentation, while adhering to security protocols.

Role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year in customer service, and ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or related field.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and handle baggage weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry.
• Maintain recurrent training as assigned.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badge.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Make reservations, issue tickets and itineraries, and compute fares for passengers.
• Handle baggage check-in, collect excess baggage charges, and provide travel information.
• Assist passengers at boarding gates, verify tickets and process boarding procedures.
• Manage arrangements for passengers with reservations, standby travelers, and luggage.
• Determine flight close-out times and complete flight documentation for accuracy.
• Handle post-departure procedures, including invalidating tickets and reporting.
• Conduct lost and found activities, tracing items and returning found articles.
• Process claims for lost or damaged baggage and route larger claims appropriately.
• Receive and process airfreight shipments, determine routing and prepare documentation.
• Maintain inventory records for airfreight shipments and warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with site security protocols and report breaches.
