Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a Ramp & Customer Service Agent to support guest interactions and ramp tasks. You will assist travelers, manage baggage, boarding, and safety checks in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state or territory.
• Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with travel needs (inquiries, baggage, ticketing, checking-in passengers, boarding).
• Work outdoors in various weather, perform below-wing functions (transports baggage, loads cargo, aircraft marshaling, pushback, deicing).
• Perform boarding and gate duties and announcements.
• Process and secure guest luggage; file/maintain luggage claims including damaged, delayed, pilferage.
• Load and offload luggage/cargo using conveyor belts.
• May be assigned to other duties to ensure guest satisfaction.
