Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Wichita is seeking a Customer Service Agent to check in passengers at the ticket counter and gates, verify travel documents, assign seats, and provide gate information. You will handle baggage and assist passengers with issues while upholding uniform standards and workplace conduct.

You will also host self-service kiosks, verify documents, and support gate operations while maintaining a positive, service-oriented attitude across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to stand for long periods at the ticket counter and gate check-in areas.
• Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims and other issues in the airport.
• Host self-service kiosks and verify passenger documents prior to boarding.
• Verify identification labels and baggage routing tags.
• Maintain organized work areas including check-in, lobby, gate and baggage zones.
• Make announcements and handle baggage checks as part of gate operations.
