Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Customer Service Agent to assist passengers at the airport, check them in, verify documents, assign seats, and provide gate information. You will help with baggage, boarding and passenger needs in a fast-paced environment.

Must be 18+, have a US drivers license, and pass background checks. Strong English communication and computer skills are essential for success at the ticket counter and gates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have a current valid US drivers license.
• Computer skills are required for airport systems.
• Ability to read, write and speak English with excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods at the ticket counter and gate check-in areas.
• Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims and other passenger issues in the airport.
• Host self-service kiosks and verify passengers' documents prior to boarding aircraft.
• Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags.
• Ensure work areas (check-in, lobby, gate, baggage) are organized and functional.
• Make announcements, check baggage, and assign seats in the gate area.
