Job summary

CLEAR is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations at our San Jose location. You will manage Ambassadors and Managers, drive security, customer service, and sales, and ensure KPIs are met while upholding CLEAR standards.

The role requires at least 6 years of leadership in high-volume, customer-facing environments, experience managing both salaried and hourly staff, and ability to coach and develop a diverse team. Total compensation ranges from $100,000 to $137,500 per year.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Experience managing both salaried and hourly employees is a must.
• Ability to lead and develop a diverse team and drive CLEAR objectives around security, service, and sales.
• Willingness to complete a government background investigation and work a non-traditional schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a team of Ambassadors and Managers.
• Own the airport operations and drive KPIs and overall execution.
• Hire, develop and sustain a diverse team delivering on CLEAR objectives.
• Manage labor, payroll and scheduling; ensure floor time on customer-facing roles.
• Build relationships with TSA and airport partners; escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure compliance with CLEAR, airport, state and federal policies.
