Job summary

Avolta is hiring a Cook at Seattle Airport F&B, with responsibilities across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry and eggs. You will communicate ticket times to the manager and servers, ensuring high quality service. This non-exempt role typically reports to the Store Manager or General Manager per local requirements.

Responsibilities include following recipes, estimating production, maintaining HACCP compliance, operating kitchen equipment, and keeping stations clean and stocked with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience in high-volume casual dining.
• Requires knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry and pantry items.
• Requires ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and communicate with customers.
• Requires the ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.
• Requires bending, twisting and standing for normal job functions.
• Frequent hand immersion in water/chemicals and use of sharp knives.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and product directions to prepare and serve items across multiple stations.
• Estimate food requirements, plan production, and requisition supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment.
• Follow HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients as directed.
• Stock, date, rotate and check temperatures of products.
