Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to assist branch management in executing QSR-style restaurant operations. The role ensures a clean, ready-for-business environment, proper staffing, and adherence to high operational standards.

You will apply policies to manage daily activities and service quality. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, supervising associates, interviewing and scheduling, and maintaining safety and health compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food & beverage, cash handling and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse with customers.
• Knowledge of health, safety and HACCP standards.
• Non-Exempt position under FLSA.

Responsibilities

• Open, daily and closing procedures as per policy.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within a unit or POS.
• Participate in hiring process; input on terminations or promotions.
• Assign tasks, prepare schedules and ensure shifts are covered.
• Ensure mandated breaks and meals are taken; maintain safety standards.
• Operate cash register and process invoices; secure cash.
