HMSHost is hiring at the Portland Jetport location for a Cook CD – Standard. The role involves preparing cooked foods and executing all station functions (Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, eggs) while communicating any issues to the manager on duty.

You’ll deliver high-quality service and adhere to HACCP standards in a fast-paced airport setting. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of cooking experience in high-volume environments and are capable of lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for long

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; high volume or fast casual preferred.
• Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry and pantry items.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Able to communicate instructions clearly with team and managers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cooked foods and operate station functions (Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, eggs).
• Communicate ticket times and potential problems to the manager on duty and servers.
• Maintain high quality service and food safety at all times.
• Follow recipes, record production needs and assist with station coverage as required.
• Adhere to HACCP standards and sanitation practices.
