The Cook at HMSHost is responsible for preparing cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs, ensuring high-quality service for customers and staff at all times. This is a non-exempt on-site role at Dulles airport, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications include 1 year of cooking experience, HACCP knowledge, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and strong communication with team and customers.

Qualifications

• Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume casual dining environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and menus, and to communicate with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares, seasons, cooks, and serves food items across multiple stations.
• Estimates production requirements, checks equipment needs, and maintains records for production planning.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment; adheres to HACCP standards.
