HMSHost at Portland Jetport is seeking a Cook CD – Standard who will prepare foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs stations. You will communicate ticket times to the manager and servers, while ensuring the highest quality of service to customers and team members.

This non-exempt role reports to Store leadership and supports smooth kitchen operations. The role requires following recipes, ensuring food safety, and maintaining clean, organized workstations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience.
• Experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Follows recipes and prepares foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs stations.
• Tastes products, estimates production needs, and records requirements for planning.
• Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment.
• Practices food safety and HACCP standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment, measures and mixes ingredients, handles fruits and vegetables.
• Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperatures of products.
• Other duties as assigned.
