Avolta is hiring a skilled Cook CD - Skilled at the Charlotte Airport location. The role requires preparing diverse foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs, while communicating any delays to the manager and servers.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position with an advertised compensation of $21.75 per hour. Essential duties include following recipes, estimating needs, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring HACCP-compliant safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 3 years of cooking experience in high-volume or fast casual dining.
• Knowledge of sauces, soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Adherence to HACCP standards and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items.
• Tastes products, estimates production needs, orders supplies as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation per HACCP standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment and handles ingredients.
• Stocking, dating, rotating, and temperature checks of products.
