Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated Customer Service Gate Agent in the Ground Handling Department to assist passengers with boarding and changes to itineraries. This role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, strong communication, and the ability to work all shifts in a busy airport environment.

Starting rate is $16.80 per hour. The job includes paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and medical/dental benefits.

Qualifications

• Must complete training course.
• Capacity to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights.
• Monitor computerized passenger boarding.
• Assist customers with special needs, including wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors.
• Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required.
• Operate the Jetway.
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives.
