Job summary

Intrepid Global Solutions is seeking an Electrical Distribution Technician to support airfield and base operations. The role focuses on high- and medium-voltage systems and airfield lighting, with deployment to a DoD location and full-time commitment.

You will operate, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical infrastructure, read schematics, and ensure NEC compliance. A DoD security posture and 100% travel are required.

Qualifications

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure NEC compliance, safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Coordinate with airfield operations and other maintenance disciplines.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance actions and system status.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HV/MV distribution systems.
• Maintain airfield lighting systems (runway, taxiway, navigational).
• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Ensure NEC and safety compliance; implement lockout/tagout.
• Coordinate with airfield operations and other teams.
• Document maintenance actions and system status.
• Respond to emergency outages and mission-critical issues.
• Travel 100% to deployed location.
