Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, a manufacturing campus of M.C. Dean, seeks a Field Service Technician to perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and start-up of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, including breakers, transformers, switches, switchgear, relays, and motor control centers.

The role requires interpreting schematics, using test equipment (Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, Fluke), and ensuring compliance with NETA standards, NFPA, NEC, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally; international travel preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards (NETA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead projects onsite and in-house with documentation from receipt to invoicing.
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and related equipment.
• Maintain safety and cost controls, reduce waste, and ensure quality.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed; rotate on-call duties.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth commissioning.
