Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a Field Support Technician for a client within the Plant and Equipment Department. The role requires nearly 100% travel across the USA and occasional international assignments, with all travel fully paid by the company.

The technician will troubleshoot electrical systems (switchboards, generators, automation, drive systems), perform preventive maintenance, install and commission new systems including PLCs, and train crew on electrical topics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a similar role.
• Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems preferred.
• Reading blueprints of electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to dredge locations around USA and globally to perform assignments.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions on electrical systems including switchboards, generators, automation and drive systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration using manuals and testing equipment.
