Job summary

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board is seeking an experienced electrician to install, maintain, and test airfield and non-airfield electrical systems essential for airport operations.

Under supervision of the Electrical Manager, you will lead electricians and contractors, follow FAA Part 139 requirements, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across critical infrastructure. This role requires availability for rotating shifts and travel within airport facilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent.
• Six (6) years of experience maintaining commercial, industrial, airport, utility, or medium-voltage electrical systems.
• Possession of a Master Electrician license issued by the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain airfield lighting and related control systems including runway and taxiway lights.
• Install, test, repair medium to high-voltage electrical systems and equipment across DFW Airport facilities.
• Lead maintenance on Airfield Lighting Vaults, CCRs, transformers, substations, and relays.
• Guide switching, LOTO, and restoration of electrical distribution systems.
• Coordinate technical support during emergencies and outages.
• Train and supervise lower-level employees.
