The candidate will read schematics, follow NEC/safety standards, and coordinate with other maintenance teams while documenting actions and system status. DoD security clearance is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with high/medium-voltage distribution systems.
• Minimum 5 years of airfield lighting experience (runway/taxiway).
• Must read/interpet electrical drawings and manuals.
• Must follow NEC and safety lockout/tagout procedures.

The Electrical Distribution Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical distribution systems supporting airfield and base operations at Al Udeid Air Base. This role focuses on high- and medium-voltage electrical systems and airfield lighting infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous mission support.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems.Maintain, inspect, and repair airfield lighting systems, including runway, taxiway, apron, and navigational lighting.Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and infrastructure.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.Ensure compliance with NEC, safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site-specific regulations.Coordinate with airfield operations and other maintenance disciplines to support mission requirements.Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance actions, inspections, and system status.Respond to emergency outages and mission-critical electrical issues as required.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalentValid Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician certification required.Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience working with high and/or medium-voltage electrical distribution systems.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the airfield lighting field, including runway, taxiway, and associated control systems.Demonstrated experience performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in an operational environment.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s LicensePossess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICYAble to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for QatarMust be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.TRAVEL: 100%, in deployed location.SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLCwww.intrepidgs.comIntrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC.
