Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC seeks an Electrical Distribution Technician to operate, maintain, and repair high- and medium-voltage distribution systems at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The role covers airfield lighting and control systems, with a focus on safe, reliable mission support.

The candidate will read schematics, follow NEC/safety standards, and coordinate with other maintenance teams while documenting actions and system status. DoD security clearance is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with high/medium-voltage distribution systems.
• Minimum 5 years of airfield lighting experience (runway/taxiway).
• Must read/interpet electrical drawings and manuals.
• Must follow NEC and safety lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high- and medium-voltage distribution systems.
• Maintain and repair airfield lighting (runways, taxiways, apron, navigational).
• Read electrical drawings and technical manuals; comply with NEC and site regs.
• Coordinate with airfield operations and other maintenance teams.
• Document maintenance actions and system status; respond to outages as required.
