Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and startup of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in the field and shop environments.

Travel is required locally, regionally, and nationally with international travel preferred. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant electrical experience, a high school diploma, and knowledge of safety standards and test equipment such as Doble,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience testing low to medium voltage equipment and interpreting schematics.
• Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and start-up of electrical distribution equipment both in the field and in shop environments.
• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house, review and maintain job documentation from receipt of order to invoice.
• Promote safety, follow lockout/tagout procedures, and ensure compliance with established electrical safety standards.
