Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Training Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by managing training records, readiness tracking, schedules, and class/exam coordination. This role also supports non-flying squadron functions essential to aircrew readiness and mission continuity.

The position involves updating GTIMS/ARMS data, coordinating training with Host Aviation Resource Management and Squadron personnel, and producing regular reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, training, education, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a flying squadron, training office, HARM/SARM, aviation resource management, or comparable aviation operations support environment.
• Experience using GTIMS, ARMS, or equivalent training/readiness systems.
• Experience maintaining gradebooks, records, training status, or readiness reporting.
• Ability to manage recurring reports and suspense-driven requirements.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with squadron leadership, scheduling, and external agencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database-driven reporting tool.

Responsibilities

• Update data in GTIMS or future systems and locally developed databases as required.
• Interface with HARM/SARM personnel to update ARMS as required.
• Build, review, and update student and records and grade books per AF instructions and local guidance.
• Coordinate class and exam schedules, and ensure crews are scheduled for training requirements.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly gradebook checks.
• Coordinate with Scheduling and external agencies to maximize training opportunities.
• Provide daily upgrade/continuation training tracking and weekly summaries for leadership.
• Assist in development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
• Generate routine reports and training-related documents.
