Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Scheduling Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by building and maintaining flight schedules, tracking training and availability constraints, and coordinating with squadron leadership. The role requires building long- and short-range schedules to cover aircrew, instructors, evaluators, and support personnel, while ensuring currency and progression standards.

You will produce critical scheduling reports and authorizations, and facilitate changes in real time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, logistics, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in aircrew scheduling, flying squadron operations, current operations, SARM/HARM support, aviation operations support, or comparable military aviation scheduling environment.
• Experience working with scheduling databases, training status inputs, and recurring scheduling reports.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, deadline-driven, medium- to high-stress operational environment.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with squadron leadership and support offices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with training officer, training NCO, SARM specialist, UDM, and DO to arrange schedules for operations, qualification, upgrade, test, exercises, and continuation training.
• Build long- and short-range shift schedules to ensure full coverage of aircrew, instructor, evaluator, support personnel, and supervisor positions.
• Coordinate with senior squadron leadership daily and with simulator contractors as required for simulator events.
• Track crewmember leave, TDY, medical appointments, and other scheduling commitments; de-conflict schedules with flight leadership.
• Track daily flight/ground/academic training requirements to facilitate accurate flight scheduling in support of the operations officer; schedule aircrew to mitigate ORM as per AMCI 90-903.
• Publish/post scheduling data for unit ground/flight/academic, flying, and simulator training events on databases.
• Update Load Tracker for next week’s schedule and produce weekly Flying Hour reports (A001, A002).
• Provide inputs to Wing Scheduling/Current Operations through attendance at weekly meetings for schedule coordination and de-confliction.
