Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Scheduling Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by building flight schedules, tracking training, and coordinating with squadron leadership and support offices. The role focuses on maintaining currency, managing availability constraints, and producing scheduling reports and authorizations.

You'll work in a dynamic DoD aviation environment, requiring attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to changing mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• An associate degree in aviation-related field preferred.
• At least 3 years in aircrew scheduling or military aviation scheduling.
• Experience with scheduling databases and recurring reports.
• Strong coordination and communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the training staff and leadership to arrange schedules meeting currency and progression standards.
• Build long- and short-range shift schedules to cover aircrew and support personnel.
• Track crewmember leave, TDY, medical appointments, and other commitments.
• Publish scheduling data for training and flight events on databases.
• Provide weekly reports such as Flying Hour/Effectiveness and Flying Hour Program.
• Coordinate with external agencies and higher HQ for exercise schedules.
• Produce Flight Authorizations cleared by Stan/Eval Go-No/Go.
• Update Load Tracker for next week’s schedule.
