Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Scheduling Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by building and maintaining flight schedules, tracking training and availability constraints, and coordinating with squadron leadership and support offices. You will produce required scheduling reports and authorizations and ensure crew readiness for operations.

Responsibilities include building long- and short-range schedules, tracking training requirements, de-conflicting crewmember commitments, and publishing data

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, logistics, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in aircrew scheduling or comparable military aviation scheduling environment.
• Experience with scheduling databases, training status inputs, and recurring scheduling reports.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, deadline-driven, medium- to high-stress operational environment.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with squadron leadership and support offices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with training officers, NCOs, SARM specialists, UDMs and DO to arrange schedules for operations and training.
• Build long- and short-range shift schedules to cover aircrew, instructors, evaluators, and support staff.
• Coordinate with squadron leadership daily; work with simulator contractors for events as needed.
• Track crewmember leave, TDY, medical appointments, and other scheduling commitments.
• De-conflict schedules and ensure crew availability for sorties.
• Track training requirements and schedule aircrew to meet ORM guidelines and unit priorities.
• Publish scheduling data for long/short-range training and flight schedules on DB systems.
• Produce Flight Authorizations cleared by Stan/Eval Go-No/Go process.
• Update Load Tracker for next week; generate Weekly Flying Hour reports (A001) and Flying Hour Program (A002).
• Provide inputs to Wing Scheduling/Current Operations at weekly coordination meetings.
• Coordinate with external agencies for special events and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with Aerial Delivery, Loadmaster Scheduler, and Wing Scheduling to assign training loads.
