Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Scheduling Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by building and maintaining flight schedules, tracking training and availability constraints, coordinating with squadron leadership and support offices, and producing required scheduling-related reports and authorizations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in aircrew scheduling or related military aviation scheduling, and experience with scheduling databases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, logistics, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in aircrew scheduling, flying squadron operations, current operations, SARM/HARM support, aviation operations support, or comparable military aviation scheduling environment.
• Experience working with scheduling databases, training status inputs, and recurring scheduling reports.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, deadline-driven, medium- to high-stress operational environment.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with squadron leadership and support offices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with training officer, NCO, SARM specialist, UDM, and Operations Officer to arrange schedules supporting operations and training to meet currency and progression standards.
• Build long- and short-range shift schedules to ensure full coverage of aircrew, instructor, evaluator, and support personnel positions.
• Coordinate with senior squadron leadership daily and weekly; work with simulator contractors as required for simulator events.
• Track crewmember leave, TDY, medical appointments, and other scheduling commitments; de-conflict schedules with flight leadership.
• Track daily training requirements and accomplishments to facilitate accurate flight scheduling in support of the operations officer; schedule based on ORM considerations.
